Background:
Boeing's Heliwing VTOL UAV took off and landed vertically from a tail-sitting
position, but transitioned from hover into fixed-wing forward flight
by nosing over. One demonstrator was built, which crashed while attempting
its first retransition from forward flight to landing hover on its sixth
flight on 13 Jun 95.
