Recent activities

Our autopilot is the only one approved for operation in the BQM-147A EXDRONE system. Our equipment has flown in EXDRONE, Wide-Body EXDRONE, Dragon Drone and XUV. Most recently, as a subcontractor to BAI, we designed and built the majority of avionics and ground control equipment for a Dragon Drone system for an international customer. Finally, under a contract with NAWC-AD Patuxent River we developed the guidance and control unit (GCU) for the Offset Resupply Bundle System (ORBS), a guided parafoil system for air-dropping loads in excess of 1200 pounds to a landing zone from a significant stand-off distance. The GCU included batteries, servo motors for parafoil steering and flare, command uplink, video & telemetry downlink, radio direction finding system for homing to a beacon, and a GPS-based autopilot.
